LEGO City House Building Set (8403) - Creative Construction Toy for Kids, Perfect for Imaginative Play and Home Decoration

Not sure when Legos became such an expensive toy. For how much this cost, I expected it to be larger. But since my daughter paid for it with her own money, I'm not complaining too much. Obviously it's worth that to her. She built this house as soon as it arrived and it's been on my dining room table being played with every day since (about two weeks now). The details are quite charming and thought through well enough to provide tons of creative play time. Not sure how many configurations this one has gone through, but I do like that most of the Lego City toys can be built into more than one design.I think my daughter would rate this a five-star. But given the price compared to the size, I had to give it four stars. Lego needs to remember that some of their toys still appeal to kids. This isn't a collector set. Price it accordingly.Definitely not the greatest Lego home ever built but it still has many great qualities! My nephew and I agree that this house looks really impressive from the front but it's more of a slim doll house than a proper Lego house. It has three floors but each floor barely has enough space for a minifigure or 2 plus furniture. The yard, front porch and fences are really appealing but the house was a bit disappointing for us. We'd still recommend it for those serious collectors out there and hope that you find our pictures and review helpful while you shop! :)I have Legos that have been played with by 4 generations in my family, not new ones but old ones played with. My mother built the kids a table and things for these legos, I built the sets when they were small, my kids played with them, they all grew up and moved away and I kept all the Lego's. Now my grandkids play with them. We have one castle I know was the first and it turned 30 last year, still works as advertised, legos are wonderful. This set has not only the house but has a dog, a tree house, a lounger chair and a barbeque and even a shorter than the parents boy with a skate board.My son received this for Christmas and loved it. The detail is really cool, and it goes together well with his other City Lego sets.This was very difficult to find over the holiday. Amazon was the only place I could find it. Thank you.This is a really cool house. When built, the back is open like a doll house so it's one of the few Lego houses that a girl can really enjoy. Unfortunately, most of the Lego building sets seem to be geared towards boys.My only regret is that I didn't go to ToysRus 1st. I could have saved $20 on the set alone. They had it for $39.99.My grandsons, 6 & 7, really enjoy playing with this and they were able to put it together with a little help. Of course, it's a Lego product so it's pricey.The product was a gift for my Grandson.What can i say bad about legos ,my problem was the gift wrapping.It looked like they glued paper to box,so when you unwrap,the back of box peeled off with paper.I don't think I'll pay $5.00 For gift wrapping again.I love this product! It has tons of great little details and its nice that you can switch around the floors as you please! Note this is an easy build (as most city sets are) but it is completely worth getting.３歳の息子の為に購入しました。が，３歳にはまだ早かったようで，説明書を見ながらうまく組み立てられませんでした。かわりに私が組み立ててあげたのですが，LEGOってすごい！！！！！私にとっても普通サイズのLEGO初体験（デュブロは息子に購入していたので・・・）！少しずつ組み立てていきだんだん完成していき，ついに完成した時の達成感！私の方がすっかりはまってしまいました。そして，私が組み立ててあげたLEGOで息子が遊んでいたのですが，３歳の息子が遊ぶには耐久性がまったくなく，すぐに破壊していました。が，その後自分なりに家を作っていたり，息子なりの遊び方で楽しんでいるようです。とてもきにいっています。あまり街シリーズには家がないので貴重なものです色合いが良いですね。何軒かならべて住宅街をつくりたくなります。家の基礎があり基礎の換気用の穴の部分まであるのには感動しました。家がちいさいので、ちょっと遊ぶにくいですが、ディスプレーにするなら最高です。今回のは、よくできています。Prima.
