This feature brings together top-notch wit and horror delivered in the understated elegance of William Katt. Katt, well-known as Paul Drake,jr in the final Perry Mason episodes made by Raymond Burr for television, plays a horror novelist who discovers real live monsters in the "House" where he was raised by his aunt. The film is paced well and the story holds your attention all the way through. The clever use of some popular songs at key moments in the film are a nice touch. I hate senseless gore/horror films of today. Here is a movie where the action flows with the plot and nothing happens without a reason. Enjoy!
