I love this plant stand. It looks great in my kitchen! I wish there was a little more room between shelves for taller plants but that doesn’t take away from the stand in any way.This shelf is cute, but it’s not heavy duty or super sturdy. It’s quite a bit smaller than I expected it to be, so make sure you check your measurements. Would look best in a small space. Looks a bit cheap, but for the price it works!It is simple, sturdy, and was easy to put together. I was worried about it having to be anchored to the wall, but totally unnecessary. It really does just lean against the wall and is stable.I really like how this looks, I've got all my succulents inside on it. However, I did not know that this shelf needed to be anchored to the wall. I planned on putting it in front of my window so I could not anchor it to the wall, I think it would be sturdier if I could have anchored it. I wouldn't have ordered if I knew it had to be anchored. Also, one of my shelfs was scuffed pretty bad right out of the box. Stinks that you pay almost $100 for something and its scuffed!This ladder shelf is simple, elegant, easily portable, and stands at ~53 inches tall/20 inches wide. Instructions are clear and straightforward. Assembly took 2 people approximately 15 minutes. However, since the materials are relatively cheap, not all the screws lined up easily. Included is an optional piece to secure the shelf against the wall, although it's not necessary for the shelf to be study standing on its own.Easy to build.Looks exactly like the picture & good quality (doesn’t look cheap) definitely a good buyI was surprised to discover that the shelf had to be attached to the wall to work. they want us to use a 1/4 screw into a flake board to hold the whole thing to the wall.i ignored the inadequate mounting system and used screws through the top board into the wall and two angle irons into the floor at the basenow it is sturdy and works well. but beware of the original install instructions. Be prepared to be creative
