You'll feel your teeth begin to rot with the sweetness of the kids.You'll just want to swat the adult characters with a rolled-up magazine and find yourself rooting for the ghost.But in the end, it is just a ghost story. And as a ghost story, its excellent. I would rate it among the top 10 ghost stories of the last Century. That opinion might be shared by no one else, but its shaped by my experience with the book.
