Perfect color for my family room and 1 of my cats goes in there all the time. It's sturdy and looks great.Both of my pomeranians are using this dog house all the time. Top and inside.To get them not to be afraid I put treat in and on top at different times.As a laymen I had no problem putting it together.I had it together in a very short amount of time.I never post pictures, however, this time I had too.I hope your pets enjoy it as much as my boys.I like itMy cat has a love hate relationship with this little house. It took her about a week to even start using it because... well cats. Assembly was easy and probably took around 30-45 minutes to fully complete. Surprisingly its a lot smaller than I thought, I live in a small studio and this doesn't take up too much additional space. I placed it close to my kitchen and eventually she started to use the top section to sit and watch me prepare food, which is much more preferred than having her jump on my kitchen table or countertops. The one thing she doesn't use is the inside. To me its a little too enclosed and dark, the door opening should be a little bigger given how large the space is inside. Also, the stairs are mostly just for decor at this point, its a cat, she'll jump up. However, if you have a cat that needs assistance, then the stairs have a purpose. Its been around 4 months since I received it and the only issue I've had is the stairs and bannister ledge tend to come loose, causing me to tighten it back up. Not a huge issue but that just tells me its not going to be super durable over time.While cats may not willingly allow their humans to have dogs, they do enjoy tormenting them. At least with my two furbabies. This has become the "base" in the game of tag. My Shih Tzu (2yrs) and my cat (5) love each other and play like best friends. However, one usually becomes tired before the other and this smartly designed home allows a safe place for both. The top belongs to the cat and the bottom to the dog. This house is very sturdy because they usually get in/on it by running fast and ramming into it. Every once in a while it'll slide slightly but no damage to floors. I wouldn't say that it was the easiest to assemble just because of the angles but it was quick to assemble. My only other issue is that I wish at least one of the pieces of wood had sisal for scratching. My cat knows to only scratch sisal but kittens or other cats may try to scratch the wood. You can actually buy sisal or corrugated cardboard and attach if you have this problem. Just do an Amazon search. Overall, this is priceless for me because it helps my furbabies bond.Thank you for reading, I hope you found this helpful.I never really gave much thought to cat furniture. I kind of felt like it was an extravagance or maybe just unnecessary... But seeing how much my cat loves this piece made me change my mind. It is 100% his space, and I see him go hang out there anytime he wants. It's pretty cool.We call it the Cat Cave. It was very easy to assemble, it's comfortable for my large cat, and it feels sturdy - I keep a lamp on it next to the sofa.All in all I can recommend this for anybody with a cat or small dog.First things first, this sucker is NOT light. If you've a chonker, it's going to handle them quite well indeed. Assembly was pretty simple, took about 15-20 minutes and now I need to get another one.Because with two cats who aren't real big on sharing?Well, I'm sure you get it.I got this cat house for my 3 cats that needed a new bed.When I ordered this I wasn't expecting much different from the usual folding box beds you can get for your pets. I was surprised at how heavy the package was, I knew then that this was a really high quality product.It took me about 10 minutes to assemble it. When it was all together I couldn't believe how sturdy this bed is and heavy duty too!If your cats are wild like mine are, there is zero chance of them knocking this bed over, even if they jump off it or use it as a landing pad, this bed isn't going anywhere! It is made of very durable materials that will last a long time.Overall I am very happy I got this bed for my cats, it looks great with our minimalist farmhouse decor too!Definitely recommended!
